We Are...

 We Are...
Winding down from a busy two weeks away from school and schedules.
Proud of Noah for doing such an awesome job at sports camp.
Had a lovely time snowshoeing last weekend with a good friend through tons of fresh powder.
Enjoyed three full days of Fasnacht festivities and glad the total chaos is over for now!
Enjoyed a date night with Robert visiting with old friends at their Clique's keller and marching through downtown Basel with the hum of Fasnacht.
Wishing Robert a wonderful weekend in Spiez.
Looking forward to resuming our regular routine.
Enjoying a slow, raining day and hoping spring is just around the corner.

"I guess we are doing this!"
Snowshoeing in the French side of Switzerland with tons of fresh snow!
 Beautiful views from the top!

 Fasnacht Fever!
Enjoyed days of drums, piccolos and other crazy noise.
A bit tired out from all the candy collecting, toy gathering madness!
Date night with loads of confetti decorating the streets.
How on earth do they manage to clean it all up?
The only time of the year when Basel is an absolute mess!

We Are...

 We Are...

Enjoying two weeks of school break filled with sports camp, library time, quality time with Mama and Fasnacht parades.

Trying to stay warm despite the super chilly temperatures.

Ever so grateful for this family and taking the time to thank Noah and Tessa for being my children and Robert for being my loyal husband.

Loving the quote, "Be kind; everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."  John Watson

Grateful my Mom is home and recovering.

Reading a great book about Iceland called, Names for the Sea by Sarah Moss.

I adore the interview with Frances McDormand on aging and find her to be a beautiful role model, in a world that doesn't appreciate passing years, especially on women.

Wishing everyone a wonderful week!

Tessa happy to celebrate her 3.5 birthday.
Of course we would celebrate a half birthday...for everyday is special, especially in the lives of children.
 Make a wish Tessa!
Noah in his Valentine's apron helping me peel carrots to be juiced.  Thanks little man!
