Grateful for a wonderful few days in Sardinia!  Stunningly beautiful and the Italians are ever so friendly!

Getting back into our regular routines.

Reading Atul Gwande's books, Being Mortal and finding it a bit too heavy for these days.

Listening to Wiz Khalifa with Charlie Puth See You Again...fantastic!

Enjoying the spring and unable to believe Kindergarten is almost over...sigh.

Looking forward to hikes and more exploration.

Happy Mother's Day!

 My life would have never been complete without my children and for that, I am forever thankful.

Thankful to my husband for being a remarkable life partner, supporter and father.

I am thankful to my own mother on this day for her loving support, shared wisdom and remarkable kindness.

I am filled with tremendous love for the two little loves of my life - 

Noah, my life is all the richer for your presence.  For constantly teaching me to better myself, for striving for patience and for reminding me not to take this life so seriously.  I love you.

Tessa, the daughter I dreamed of long before you were ever a reality.

I thank you for your humor, your love and your remarkable empathy.

Both of your hugs fill this heart with tremendous love, your smiles warm my days and your laughter is contagious.

Thank you again Robert, Noah, Tessa and my own dear mother.

My journey is all the sweeter because I am able to share this life with you!

 A perfect day filled with fresh coffee in bed, workouts in the gym, delicious brunch, a gorgeous hike, soccer in the botanical gardens, a little nap, fabulous dinner around a table with my family.

Trying to enjoy all the rain we are experiencing and wishing we could send some to California.

Letting Noah find his way and gaining independence. 

Starting to think about summer.

Loved the movie "Living on One Dollar" and reflecting on how little we actually need.   

We both cried when they were invited to a family dinner at one of the local's house. 

 What an incredibly beautiful spirit these people have - willing to give so much to mere strangers.  Gorgeous people and a moving story.

 

Reading Lean In and so sad to hear about the loss of the author's husband.

Thinking a lot lately and so many things and hoping the weight of those thoughts don't bring us down.

Grateful for this family that we have created and all of our experiences.
