We Are...

 Feeling remarkably grateful for all the many gifts that have been bestowed upon us and taking the time to realize how fortunate we are... for every little thing.  From fresh water, clean beds, shelter, food, a safe environment, education, fulfilling work, our family, friends, togetherness, a sense of community, clean clothes, health and so much more.

Unable to believe that our little gal is 6!  She has been a joy at each age and we welcome her 6th year with gusto. 

Celebrating 15 years of marriage.  Wow!  I never dreamed our lives together would be this sweet.  Thank you Robert for such a beautiful life!

Blessed that we focus on the little things in life that add up to be the big things.

Still feeling incredibly grateful for a wonderful weekend in the Alps.

Feeling grateful to witness nature is such beautiful settings.

Still a bit unable to believe that I am (prepare for it...) 40, but hell, here we are and I am still feeling 25.  Not bad I suppose.  

Grateful for a week of great hikes, gorge walks, and glacier observation.

Long Weekends

 We Are...

Loving the long weekends, which allow us to explore new places and retreat back home at the end of a long day.  This weekend we visited the gorgeous town of Thun.  Despite having traveled through Thun a number of times, we never stopped.  We were pleasantly surprised by the lively downtown and the gorgeous Aare river.  The children enjoyed the playgrounds and we enjoyed picnicking by the gorgeous lake.  Sweet, sweet days, always appreciated and never taken for granted.
