We Are...

Just coming off of a fun filled, adventurous four day break.

Grateful for our ability to travel to new places.

Blessed that Switzerland is so incredibly gorgeous.

So happy we are all healthy.

Proud of Noah and Tessa for hiking so many kilometers these past few days.

Shaking our heads in utter disbelief at the President of America, the way he conducts himself and the way he continues to treat others. What a sad, sad state for American politics.

Looking forward to a warm week and a fresh start.

Enjoying the steam boat on Lake Luzern and grateful this still provides such a thrill after all these years.

We Are...

Enjoying perfect weather and gorgeous hikes.

Blessed for our good health.

Most grateful that despite Robert’s bum knee we are still able to hike.

So happy my first new semester of teaching at my new job went so well!

Listening to David Gray and loving the song “Say Hello and Wave Goodbye.”

Loving the Tim Ferris and the Kind World podcasts.

Looking forward to a long weekend and some nice day trips.

Feeling relieved that the dentist was able to fix Noah’s tooth. Whew!

Enjoying long hikes in gorgeous locations.

Feeling grateful for our health both physical and mental.

Loving the fact that Switzerland still amazes us with her beauty. My gosh, what a stunning country!

Beyond grateful that Noah and Tessa are our children.

Loved reading James and the Giant Peach to the children over breakfast each morning.

Enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast for Mother's Day...yum!

Looking forward to seeing the balcony decorated with all of our new flowers. Thank you!

Wishing our own Mother's a lovely day and grateful for each gift they passed on to us.

We Are...

Loving every moment of this incredible spring.

Feeling grateful that these views, this land and this country still make us giddy with excitement.

Unable to believe we have lived in Switzerland for a full decade now. What?!

Monet at the Beyeler Foundation was a true feast for the eyes. Even the children thought so!

Loved our two weeks of exploring new places, hiking, and spending time together.

Enjoyed the thought provoking movie Captain Fantastic.

Reading James and the Giant Peach to the children.

Falling into bed each night after fresh air, lots of sunshine and healthy food and feeling grateful for everything....every last drop of this remarkable life. Blessed indeed are we!
