Long Weekends

 We Are...

Loving the long weekends, which allow us to explore new places and retreat back home at the end of a long day.  This weekend we visited the gorgeous town of Thun.  Despite having traveled through Thun a number of times, we never stopped.  We were pleasantly surprised by the lively downtown and the gorgeous Aare river.  The children enjoyed the playgrounds and we enjoyed picnicking by the gorgeous lake.  Sweet, sweet days, always appreciated and never taken for granted.

Happy Father's day to a father who is everything:  kind, loving, adventurous, a grand teacher and incredible provider.  We are celebrating you on this day and so grateful that you are in our lives.

Just coming off of a fun filled, adventurous four day break.

Grateful for our ability to travel to new places.

Blessed that Switzerland is so incredibly gorgeous.

So happy we are all healthy.

Proud of Noah and Tessa for hiking so many kilometers these past few days.

Shaking our heads in utter disbelief at the President of America, the way he conducts himself and the way he continues to treat others.  What a sad, sad state for American politics.

Looking forward to a warm week and a fresh start.

So happy my first new semester of teaching at my new job went so well!

Beyond grateful that Noah and Tessa are our children.

Enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast for Mother's Day...yum!
